Its AoW is incredible slow to the points where it loses its usefulness. At that point it's basically a weapon with a colossal move set and nothing more. Being able to choose the Aow on the Greatsword already puts it ahead of Ghiza's but it also has a better moveset as well. Greatsword is a far more practical weapon.You land a bunch of them and start feeling good and then he does one of his faster follow ups and you realize it was never safe. Either way, not doing the jump attack saves some stamina for the eventual heavy.
