This is what I think and it is only my opinion at this point and I have no facts to back it up. I think Taurus made a change to the frame in the TCP metal wise, placed a unique serial number on them and sent them out to me sold. Taurus 66. I got it home and the magazine release on this thing a very difficult for me to engage. I have to press it down deeply and it is awkward as I have big hands.
